I provide personalised pet care for your furry friends, including reliable dog walking services tailored to meet their needs.
K9 Ken is dedicated to the well-being of dogs through my exceptional pet care services. My mission is to ensure a safe and enjoyable dog walking experience for your furry friends.

Hello, I'm Ken! I couldn't imagine life without my dog. That's why I founded K9 Ken, to offer a better alternative to traditional dog walking services. I understand that dog owners want to ensure their pets are in safe hands with trusted individuals. This is why I am Canine First Aid trained, DBS checked, and insured, providing peace of mind for your pet care needs.

I take a personalised approach to dog walking, which is why the information I gather before the first walk is comprehensive. I understand that every dog is unique, with their own needs and preferences. That's why I work closely with you to develop a customised pet care plan for your furry friend.

Prices start from £10 per walk, which includes a detailed report including photos of your dog on their walk.
I also offer welfare checks, tailored services specifically for puppies and senior dogs. Contact me today to learn more about how I can assist you!
All walks include a detailed report including photo of your dogs walk
Additional Dog/s £5.00 each
Additional Dog/s £7.50 each
This is ideal for senior dogs who just require a comfort break in the garden and some company during the day
If your furry friend requires medication while you're away I can step in to help, ensuring your dog follows the vets recommendations
K9 Ken requests 48hr notice to cancel a walk. The owner will receive a refund or credit on their next bill. Owners who cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged at full rate and will not receive a refund or credit.
Pricing is reviewed annually in February, client notified in March with new pricing starting on 1st April

That's fine with I am flexible. You may just need our help for the occasional walk, once a week/month, or help in emergency's (you'd be surprised how many late night walks we do because a train has been cancelled).
A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check lets organisations check your criminal record. I feel that's it really important that you know your dog and home are in safe hands.
Handing over the keys to your home could be risky, what if your walker loses them or worse they are stolen. Would your home insurance cover this? Therefore it's important to ensure whoever walks your dog is correctly insured.
Dog's are regularly injured, be it while playing with other dogs or cutting a paw while rooting around in bushes. I feel that it's vital to be trained in basic first aid and know what to do in an emergency.
I always carry a Canine First Aid kit with us on our walks.
Well how longs a piece of string? Most owners request 30 minuets or 1 hour walks. However speak to me about your requirements, I can always find a solution.
I offer a welfare visit for your dog instead of a walk, I know that dogs (young and old) need a bit of company in the day or just to be let out for a walk around your garden. Contact me for more information.
Typically we conduct solo walks.
If you have more than one dog in your household then I am happy to walk them together.
We would only pair your dog with others if I know they are friendly to each other and it would benefit all the dog/s on the walk. I always check with yourself and the other owners before pairing dogs together.
You will receive a report by email at the end of every walk. This show's you on a map where your dog's been, where they have toilet'd, and include a picture of them on their walk.
The report is also date and time stamped so that you can see that your dog has been out for the required time.
No!
I don't use time slots, instead we have time windows. This is usually a three hour period within the day. I do this as everyday is different, traffic might slow me down, a cancellation might mean I'm early, weather conditions may mean that I have to change plans (i.e. walking in the woods on a hot day instead of on pavements).
By giving you a window you know your dog is walked (don't forget you'll also receive an end of walk report), and it gives me flexibility when challenges come my way.
Yes
However due to your puppies growing bones we have to ensure they are not over exercised. I will speak to you in detail when assessing your needs during the meet and greet. Just contact me for more information.
